Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate (Alpha Gypsum)

• Alpha and Beta Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate, commonly known as Gypsum, are often used as additives in dry-mix concrete to improve its setting, accelerating, hardening, and curing properties. Using alpha and beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate in dry-mix concrete can lead to stronger, more durable, and better-looking concrete that is easier to work with and more reliable in construction projects.

  Alpha Gypsum has a large crystal structure and lower reactivity, making it helpful in producing a smoother surface finish and reducing surface defects.

  • In Interior walls and ceilings: Calcium Sulfate Hemihydrate plaster is used to create smooth, even surfaces for interior walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings.
