Specialty Cements

Specialty cement, or alternative or advanced cement, is a group of construction materials with unique properties suitable for specific applications. Specialty cement offers unique properties and characteristics ideal for specific construction applications. They differ from traditional Portland cement in their composition and manufacturing process. They are produced by combining various raw materials, such as limestone, bauxite, clay, gypsum, and others, in specific ratios to create cement with particular characteristics.

The fast setting and high early strength of ACA (Amorphous Calcium Aluminate) Cement and HAC (High Alumina Cement), also called CAC (Calcium Aluminate Cement), are ideal for precast concrete and emergency repair applications. CSA (Calcium Sulfoaluminate Cement) can also impart early set, low shrinkage, and high durability, making it suitable for lightweight concrete structures. Expansive CSA cement is used in grouting and concrete repair, while White cement is used in decorative and architectural applications.
